International agreements

The Central Commission has initiated or contributed to the adoption of numerous international agreements and arrangements in the field of inland navigation:

• International conventions related to private law governing inland navigation (CMNI, CLNI)
• Convention concerning the transport of dangerous goods on waterways (ADN)
• Convention concerning the working conditions of Rhine boatmen
• Regional Arrangement concerning the Radiotelephone Service on Inland Waterways
• International arrangement on the mutual recognition of service books
• CDNI convention
• Agreement concerning the social security of Rhine boatmen.
